১৯৬৬। নাটক ‘চাপাডাঙ্গার মেলা'(নান্দনিক,পাইকপাড়া, নির্দেশক:সিদ্ধেশ্বর ভট্টাচার্য)। গান ও আবহ করলেন মুরারি রায়চৌধুরী। ৩৩৮টি নাটকে কখনো গান ও আবহ আবার কখনো বা সঙ্গীত পরিচালনা। দশটি যাত্রাপালায় সুর ও আবহ করেছেন। ফিল্ম এবং টেলিভিশন প্রযোজনায় সুর,আবহ,গান করেছেন কুড়িটি।
২০১২ সালে ভারত সরকার প্রদত্ত সংগীত নাটক অকাদেমী পুরস্কারে সম্মানিত হয়েছেন। থিয়েটারে সংগীত প্রয়োগ প্রসঙ্গে ৫০টি রচনা এবং ৮টি বিশেষ সাক্ষাৎকার নিয়ে তৈরি হয়েছে এই গ্রন্থ। এছাড়াও রয়েছে মুরারি রায়চৌধুরী সম্পর্কে বিভিন্ন বিশিষ্ট নাট্য ব্যক্তিত্বদের মূল্যায়ন।
