ঈশ্বরকে দেখিনা আমরা। মানুষকে দেখি। দেখি মানুষের মনুষ্যত্ব, নান্দনিকতা, সংগ্রাম, সংকল্প এবং সৃষ্টিশীলতাকে। অনুরাধা মহাপাত্র ১৯৭১ থেকে লিখে চলেছেন। দীর্ঘ এই সাহিত্যযাত্রায় কবি, গদ্য লেখক, অনুবাদক অনুরাধার বাংলা ও ইংরেজিতে মোট ৩৭টি কাব্যগ্রন্থ ও ৫টি গদ্য গ্রন্থ প্রকাশিত হয়েছে।
তাঁর কবিতা অনূদিত হয়েছে হিন্দি, মারাঠি, ওড়িয়া ভাষায়। আন্তর্জাতিক ক্ষেত্রে– ইংরেজি, ফরাসি, জাপানি, স্পেনীয় ভাষায়।
কবি সুভাষ মুখোপাধ্যায় স্মৃতি পুরস্কার, কবি অলোক সরকার স্মৃতি পুরস্কার ইত্যাদি নানান পুরস্কারে সম্মানিত হয়েছেন। কবিতা পাঠের আমন্ত্রণে গিয়েছেন প্যারিসে, আমেরিকায়।
