অরুণ কুমার চক্রবর্তী (ছদ্মনাম মুসাফির বাউল) বেঙ্গল ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং কলেজ শিবপুর থেকে প্রথম শ্রেণীতে মেটালার্জিক্যাল ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং – এ স্নাতক। ১৯৬১ থেকেই লেখালেখি। প্রধানত প্রকৃতি ও আদিবাসীদের জীবনযাত্রা সংস্কৃতি জঙ্গল চেতনা দ্বারা গভীরভাবে প্রভাবিত। অনেক কবিতাই আঞ্চলিক ভাষায় রচিত। ঝুমুর কবিতা ‘লাল পাহাড়ির দেশে যা’ রচিত হয়েছিল ১৯৭২ সালে। সরকারের পরিবেশ ও বনদপ্তর থেকে জাতীয় পুরস্কারে সম্মানিত হয়েছেন। পেয়েছেন বাংলার বিভিন্ন প্রতিষ্ঠিত কবিদের নামে পুরস্কার।
